The young boy is expelled and sent home from his Naval Academy where he attends school.
When Ronnie's father, Arthur (Nigel Hawthorne) hears of the accusation, he believes his son is innocent of the crime and attempts to remove the injustice that has fallen on the family by pursuing the matter to court and hiring the best and most costly lawyer in town, Sir Robert Morton (Jeremy Northam).
This film tells the story of the Winslow family pursing a costly effort to clear their son's good name and the name of the Winslow family.
The Winslow Boy is a favorite for Best Biographies.

Political Vews: | Conservative in the fact that the family took a stand against the injustice.
Family and Western Values: | The film is based off of Western and American Values. The fact that they even get to question the government and fight the injustice against them speaks volumes.
Judeo-Christian Values: | The father is a great dad and is responsible in such a way that shows christian values. The daughter Catherine, seems a little feministic at first but deep down she shows a femininity that is admirable near the end of the movie. |
