One early morning when Pastor Graham Hess (Gibson) is awaken by his children and brother Merrill (Phoenix) staring into the far off cornfield.
When it was discovered that something was amiss on the farm, the family headed out to the corn filed and discover a 500 +Ft pattern of a circle.
Their home changes as the mystery increases with strange happenings around the farm.
With the help of the media coverage, they learned that there had been several other occurrences around the globe bearing the same strange sign.
Pastor Graham pursues the mystery as he tries to overcome his late wife's death and regain his faith in God.
This is a very intriguing story with a touch of humor that is livened up by the two children.
Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix are a great combination to a very wholesome humor filled thriller movie.
